1. Agreement to Terms

By using Scuba CV Design services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Services Provided

We provide CV website design services:

• Website design and development
• Content integration
• Netlify hosting
• Post-launch support per package
• Optional add-ons

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

• Provide accurate information and materials
• Respond to feedback requests
• Ensure content does not infringe rights
• Pay fees per agreed schedule
• Communicate professionally

4. Payment and Fees

Pricing: Prices in USD. Agreed price is final.

Payment: Packages $500+ offer 50% upfront, 50% on completion. Full payment required before launch.

Refunds: Available before first design approval, minus completed work.

Additional Work: Out-of-scope changes incur additional fees.

5. Revisions and Scope

Each package includes a specific number of revision rounds as outlined in our pricing. A "revision round" allows you to provide feedback on all aspects of the site, which we will then implement.

Out-of-Scope Changes: Major redesigns, switching to a completely different template, or adding features beyond your package scope may require additional fees.

Additional Revisions: If you require more revision rounds than included in your package, additional rounds are available for $75 each.

6. Project Timeline

Timelines are estimates. They vary based on complexity and client responsiveness. Timelines begin when all materials are received.

7. Intellectual Property

Client Content: You retain all rights to the content (text, images, certifications, etc.) you provide. By providing content, you grant us a license to use it for the purpose of creating and hosting your website.

Website Ownership: Upon full payment, you own the completed website and all custom design elements created specifically for you. We retain the right to use template structures, code libraries, and design patterns for other clients.

Portfolio Use: We reserve the right to display your completed website in our portfolio, case studies, or marketing materials unless you request otherwise.

8. Hosting and Maintenance

Hosting on Netlify included. Netlify terms apply. We are not responsible for Netlify issues.

Support: 30 days minor updates included. Additional updates quoted separately.

9. Warranties and Disclaimers

Services performed professionally. No guarantees on job offers or rankings. Provided "as is" without warranties.

10. Limitation of Liability

Total liability limited to amount paid for services.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate for breach or insolvency. Client termination without cause forfeits payments.

12. Confidentiality

We agree to keep confidential any sensitive information you share with us during the project. However, this does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, or third-party service disruptions.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
